Paper-based Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) are outdated. They’re slow, prone to errors, and hard to track. Compliance becomes a headache, safety issues go unnoticed, and fleet managers are left in the dark. Drivers are stuck with a frustrating, manual process that eats up their time. There’s a growing demand for digital inspection report solutions as fleets move away from paper-based system.

A mobile app that enables drivers to complete inspection reports via a guided checklist and real-time defect reporting. Automated record-keeping ensures compliance, while instant insights help fleet managers address issues proactively, ultimately improving safety, efficiency, and uptime.

I collaborated with a cross-functional team to develop a mobile app experience from the early stages, guiding strategy, research, user flows, concept development, and sprint execution. Later, I co-created a design system to unify the visual language across all of Lytx's mobile products.
